How do I know that my registration was successful?
Immediately after registration you will receive a confirmation and the corresponding invoice by e-mail. Tip: add das Kunst to your contacts so you will receive all emails in your inbox instead of spam. Furthermore, you can always check the status of your registration on your personal account under 'my registrations'.
My child is on the waiting list. How do I know if they can still participate?
When a spot becomes available, you will automatically receive an email through our registration system.
You then have two days to confirm your registration. If your child can no longer participate, you can indicate this via the same email.
How do I log into "my account" of das Kunst?
Your personal account works with an automatic login link. You do not need to create a password. You will receive this automatic login link directly in your mailbox when you register for the first time.
What can I go to 'my account' for?
In 'my account' we bundle the overview of your registrations, payments and certificates.
The account is created the first time you register via our renewed registration system and is linked to your e-mail address.
Why am I not receiving emails?
On your das Kunst account, you can check under 'menu' under 'my family' if your email address is entered correctly. Do you want to change your e-mail address? Click on the pencil icon next to your name. Also check your spam folder. If you add 'das Kunst' to your contacts, you will receive our mails in your inbox.

Kunstfabriek
My child is sick and can no longer participate in Kunstfabriek. What now?
You will notify das Kunst as soon as possible at info@daskunst.be, along with a doctor's certificate. Days not taken will be fully refunded.
I would like to cancel my registration for Kunstfabriek.
You can cancel a registration for Kunstfabriek up to one month before the start of the activity. You pay an administrative fee of 30% of the registration fee. Cancellations should be communicated via info@daskunst.be. Please provide the name of the participant and the last 4 digits of the bank card number of the account holder who may receive the remaining registration fee.
After that, you can only cancel for medical reasons. In case of cancellation due to medical reasons, please provide a doctor's certificate via info@daskunst.be. Days not taken will be refunded. You pay an administrative fee of 30% of the registration fee.
das Kunst reserves the right to cancel an activity in case of insufficient enrollment or force majeure. The registration fee will be fully refunded in this case.
What is the difference between Kunstfabriek 1.0 and Kunstfabriek 2.0?
During Kunstfabriek 1.0, children, ages 6 and up, spend a week making art together and immersing themselves in different, analog techniques. Kunstfabriek 2.0 is for children ages 10 and up. They discover and learn to work with a 3D printer, heatpress, a laser cutter, AR and VR and much more.
My child is turning 6 and would like to participate in Kunstfabriek. Is that possible?
Unfortunately, your child is just too young. Children can participate in Kunstfabriek if they are 6 years old at the start. We would love to welcome your child starting next year!
Who are the facilitators during Kunstfabriek?
There is a team of young artists (17+) ready to guide the participants during Kunstfabriek. das Kunst provides support for the young artists and provides professional training as artistic supervisors, by our permanent artistic staff.
When can I drop off and pick up my child during Kunstfabriek?
Participants are welcome from 8:30 a.m. each day. We start at 9am and finish at 4pm. You can pick up your child until 5pm. On Fridays there is a show time at 4pm.
Can I enroll my child in Kunstfabriek for one or more days or just a full week?
At Kunstfabriek 1.0, your child can participate for one or more days.
At Kunstfabriek 2.0, register your child for the full week.
Will I receive a tax certificate after participating in Kunstfabriek?
7 days after the last day of the activity, your tax certificate is available via 'my account' on our website under 'my registrations'. To generate this certificate, we need the state registration number of the participant and the booker, which you can also complete via 'my account'.
Using the tax certificate, you can deduct the costs of the activity from your taxes. You may deduct all childcare costs, up to a maximum of 14.40 euros per childcare day (assessment year 2024 - income year 2023). The amount is indexed every year. The tax credit is 45% of those expenses.
Will I receive a participation or mutual benefit certificate after participating in Kunstfabriek?
You will automatically receive the attestation of participation by mail after the end of your activity at das Kunst. The attestation can also be downloaded from this moment via 'my account' on our website under 'my registrations'.
Bring this attestation together with your sticker in to your health insurance company or other authority in order to receive a reimbursement of the participation fee. This certificate of participation replaces the completion forms you receive from your health insurance fund.

Is a discount possible?
das Kunst believes that every child is entitled to quality leisure experiences. An increased allowance is available, if you are in possession of:
UiTPAS Gent and UiTPAS ZuidWest.
If you have an UiTPAS with opportunity fee, you can exercise your right to an increased allowance when enrolling your child in Kunstfabriek. Simply enter your child's UiTPAS number, the discount is automatically calculated and you pay 20% of the normal rate.
A-kaart
If you hold an A-kaart with an opportunity fee, you can exercise your right to increased concessions when you enroll your child in Kunstfabriek. Just enter your A-card number, the discount is automatically calculated and you pay 20% of the normal rate.
Paspartoe
If you have a Paspartoe with opportunity tariff, you can use your right to increased concession when you enroll your child for Kunstfabriek. Simply enter your Paspartoe number, the discount is automatically calculated and you pay 20% of the regular rate.

Our team of artistic staff works annually with more than 120 young artists who work as artistic supervisors or artistic supporters in our art projects.
We operate as a leisure operation during school vacations and during school weeks (after school hours). Young artists who commit to working with us are professionally supported and receive appropriate compensation based on experience and commitment.
